2023 DFG Review Board Election
The DFG Review Board Election will take place from October 23 to November 20, 2023. As is previous years, several candidates proposed by the VfS are eligible for election.
The Verein für Socialpolitik would like to draw attention to the upcoming election of the members of the DFG Review Boards (“DFG Fachkollegien") for the term 2024-2028. The following candidates have been nominated in the fields of "Economic Theory", "Economic Policy, Applied Economics", "Statistics and Econometrics" and "Economic and Social History":
Statistics and Econometrics:
- Göran Kauermann (Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich)
- Carsten Trenkler (University of Mannheim)
Economic Theory:
- Veronika Grimm (Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg)
- Leo Kaas (Goethe University Frankfurt am Main)
Economic Policy, Applied Economics:
- Michael Kosfeld (Goethe University Frankfurt am Main)
- Nadine Riedel (Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster)
- Uwe Sunde (Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich)
Economic and Social History:
- Alexander Nützenadel (Humboldt University of Berlin)
- Nikolaus Wolf (Humboldt University of Berlin)
The election period lasts from 23 October (from 2 p.m.) to 20 November (until 2 p.m.). Eligible voters will receive all the necessary information for the online election from the DFG. The Verein für Socialpolitik encourages all members to vote in the upcoming election.
