In Memoriam: Nora Szech

We mourn the loss of Prof. Nora Szech. Nora had been a member of the Economic Theory Committee of the Verein für Socialpolitik since 2015 and energized our meetings with her presentations, questions, and comments.  Her research pushed the frontiers in theoretical and behavioral economics, and she also made contributions to practical applications. She was a committed mentor and role model for young researchers in Germany. Our time with Nora was tragically brief. She will be deeply missed.

In 2011, the Verein für Socialpolitik awarded Nora Szech with the Reinhard Selten Award.
